Now that Labour Day has passed and we move into the hustle and bustle that back to school brings, our focus tends to shift away from the up and coming events around Muskoka. But Fall is not a season to miss up in Muskoka! The 39th Annual Muskoka Autumn Studio Tour 2017

When: September 23-September 24

Time: 10am - 6pm

Cost: No charge

Take a leisurely drive through Muskoka’s beautiful Autumn landscapes as you travel and take in the workings of 20 local artists and craftspeople. You will get a chance to tour their studios and workshops and have a chat with the artists themselves. Learn about the workings behind their art and maybe even pick up a new piece for your collection. This self-directed tour allows you to immerse yourself in the art you know and enjoy while presenting an oppourtunity to experience new forms of art and craftsmanship.

Bala Cranberry Harvest

When: September 23 - October 31

Time: Open 9am- 6pm daily

Take a tour of the 27-acre harvesting grounds where you will learn the ins and outs of growing and preparing this spectacular berry. Enjoy a leisurely wine tasting and then sit back a relax on their patio with some cheese and wine. This event is not just for those who are 19+. On weekends bring the family and experience kids activities such as Critter Catching, hunting for geocaches and hiking throughout their trails. It’s the perfect day for all ages.

Muskoka Mud Run

When: September 30

Register now for a run of a lifetime! Experience Muskoka’s breathtaking scenery as your trek through their open Cross country race. Tom Thomson Paddle Art Event

When: September 29

Time: 3pm- 9pm

Cost: Free Event

Enjoy intricately designed artwork on more than 100 paddles. Each paddle will be on display for purchase through a silent auction. Take in the open house viewing style and be sure to stick around for the showing of the film “Canoe Canoe” starting at 7:30 pm! The Great Muskoka Paddling Experience

When: October 7
