Guests are required to prepay in full at the time of booking. This ensures we maintain a reliable client base and minimize last-minute cancellations.

If you need to cancel for any reason, a credit for the same amount will be added to your customer account for future use. This credit does not expire.

At Happy Tails, we offer a cage-free Cottage Dog lifestyle where dogs can run, play, swim, and enjoy the freedom of our expansive, fully fenced dog parks—experiencing all the fun that cottage dogs have enjoyed for generations. While we strive to provide the safest environment possible and ensure all our guests have the best "Playcations," we cannot guarantee that they won’t encounter minor mishaps, such as running into a tree, getting snagged by a branch, or a playful tooth during roughhousing. We diligently prevent injuries and promptly report any concerns to the dog’s owner, guardian, or emergency contact.

Please note that owners are financially responsible for any veterinary costs resulting from injuries, illnesses, or underlying health issues. To assist us in providing the best care, please include any veterinary instructions in your customer/pet profile. You may also upload pet insurance policies into your pet’s vaccination section as a backup in case of an emergency.

• Early drop-off can be prearranged on weekdays between 6:15 am and 7 am with permission and instruction.

** We do not accept guests after 12:45 PM because it’s difficult to acclimate the arriving dog with other resort guests.

LATE ARRIVALS: Late arrivals can be accommodated during the peak summer season with a $100 surcharge. This fee allows us to employ staff to shift other dogs away from the area to minimize disruption and personally settle your dog into the resort outside of regular check-in times. As a cage-free facility, we prioritize the comfort and happiness of all our guests.

If our check-in times don’t work for you, we can recommend a couple of other cage-free, conventional kennels in the area that may offer more flexible schedules. *Please note: Late arrivals are particularly challenging during the winter months due to limited daylight hours. It is essential for dogs to be acclimatized during daylight to help them familiarize themselves with the resort and its surroundings.
