Doggy Daycare is exactly that—daytime fun with no overnight stays. Your dog will spend the day running, playing, and swimming with their canine buddies in our spacious, fully fenced dog parks. Daycare also includes access to our cozy dog lounge for some well-earned relaxation.

The bigger the package, the more you save! Our 10-, 30-, and 100-day daycare packages offer tiered discounts starting at $45/day for social dogs, $65/day for intact males, and $75/day for non-social/reactive guests. Custom 365-day rates available upon request.

Have a “very important pup” who enjoys the finer things in life? Then our VIP Package might be the one for you! Your dog will enjoy private resort lifestyle accommodation in our new pavilion building with its cozy cottage atmosphere, underfloor heating, fireplaces, and Kuranda-style beds. During the day, your dog will have access to our fully fenced dog parks, where they can romp around with their doggy buddies, swim in our ponds, hunt for frogs, and chase chipmunks!

As your dog's safety and fun are of utmost importance to us, dogs enjoy lodgings and dog park access geared to their size and breed—life at their own speed, fast or slow. Social guests can run, play, and have fun with compatible best buddies, while shy clients can take their time getting acquainted with their new surroundings.

For stays of 10 days or more, the VIP Package includes additional luxuries: a professional bath, brush, and tidy; extra one-on-one time with our trained staff; and personalized care with tasty bedtime treats delivered just for them. Please note that spaces for the VIP Package are limited, so book early to secure your dog’s spot!

The One Step Up package is our most popular choice and the one we recommend for most of our guests. It provides a balanced level of care, perfect for dogs who may need a little extra attention but don’t require the premium VIP package or the specialized handling of the Non-Social Reactive package.

This is an ideal option for most of our guests, including first-time visitors, ensuring a smooth transition into our cage-free environment with personalized care and supervision. It’s also a great fit for dogs who aren’t yet frequent and seasoned visitors and still need structured, attentive care.

Who is this package for?

Most dogs boarding with us – A perfect middle ground between our VIP and Ruffin’ It packages. This package provides attentive care and structure without the added cost of VIP boarding.

First-time visitors – A smooth introduction to the resort with a little extra attention to ensure they settle in comfortably.

Puppies – We love puppies, and we know they need special care during their early months. This package includes socialization with appropriate dogs, baths and nail trims, reinforcement of positive behaviours, and quiet rest time to recharge. Intact male puppies over six months must use the special handling dog rate—see below for details.

Senior dogs – Older dogs who prefer a more relaxed pace will receive extra care to maintain their comfort and routine. They’ll have access to appropriate dog parks for unsteady legs, cozy blankets for sore joints, and plenty of one-on-one attention. We are also experienced in administering medications as needed.

Dogs with medical needs – If your dog has special medical requirements, this package ensures they receive individualized attention and any necessary accommodations for their care.

Intact male dogs over six months – Due to space limitations, we can only house one intact male dog per space at a time. Availability is limited, so early booking is recommended.

This package strikes the perfect balance between structured care and a fun, social stay, ensuring every dog, whether a first-timer, a returning visitor, or one needing a little extra attention, has a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience at Happy Tails.

Our Ruff'n It in Muskoka package is perfect for dogs who are frequent visitors to Happy Tails, whether for playdays or overnight stays. These are the dogs we know well, and who are equally familiar with our resort. Socially interactive and skilled in canine communication, they can seamlessly integrate into the general population of other Ruff'n It dogs.

Owners of Ruff'n It dogs enjoy the convenience of our online booking system for all their needs, including purchasing, booking, editing, and cancellations. These trusted dogs play a vital role at the resort, often serving as ambassadors for our new guests, helping them adjust and enjoy positive first experiences. In turn, Ruff'n It dogs benefit from ample opportunities to explore multiple dog parks and have even more fun with their canine friends.

Please note: During our busy seasons, Ruff'n It dogs may stay in our older lodge, which is further from the Main Pavilion. For this reason, these dogs need to be super secure and comfortable in the older lodge environment. If you prefer your dog to stay in the Main Dog Lodge, we recommend choosing the One Step Up package instead.

Open year-round, Ruff'n It dogs have access to our fully fenced dog parks, where they can swim, hunt for frogs, chase chipmunks, and play with their doggie friends. When it’s time for a well-deserved nap, they can curl up on one of our cozy Kuranda-style beds in the dog lodge. We prioritize the safety and happiness of every guest, offering accommodations and park access tailored to their size, breed, and pace of life, whether fast or slow.
