We are enjoying the creation of an incredible dog sport Muskoka trail system at our resort with the help of several local businesses.  We have been blessed with the original pioneer road for those who traversed north from Baysville to Huntsville, as well as two off-shoot pioneer roads to long abandoned farms land locked behind ours.   Last fall we saw it start to come together who developed many challenging looping trails not unlike giant petals curving in and out our beautiful hilltop woodlands and pioneer road systems with 3 and 4 way intersecting trails with the ability to see and avoid other participators if your dogs are not social, and travel along with others who are.   In the winter we offer people and their dogs the opportunity to enjoy skijoring, fat-bikejoring, kick sleds and small sprint dog teams.  Followed by bikejoring, canicross, scootering, training carts, as well as XC running trails and a new and seriously challenging Woof Mudder course.  

What an opportunity for me too to enjoy as well...  My passion of my younger years of running a team of Siberian Huskies returned in full force.   I saw these trails perfect to teach dogs gee and haw, and I decided I wanted to have one more team of high energy Siberian Huskies.  I set forth to adopt the right dogs who needed the lifestyle I could provide them as well as giving myself some compulsory time off during my 24:7 business to play with my own dogs on my trails.  

Being a pet resort I needed all my dream team dogs to be spayed and neutered and all of them rescues and/or rehomed dogs.  The maximum number I could commit to was 12 dogs who will enjoy their lives in a cage free resort as my own fur kids and breed ambassadors to show how adequate exercise and a stimulating lifestyle can make any dog happy and totally amazing dogs!  I want to share their lives and their progress by inviting dog lovers to follow them them and come meet them individually throughout their lives.  Take them out onto our trails on a one-to-one basis for an hour or so.   Let them introduce you passionately to a new dog sport, exchange some love with you, while you contributing to their ongoing care and the continued development and maintenance of a coming together spot for many dog loving visitors and their dogs to enjoy a vast array of beautiful trails and just-for-fun dog sports to keep themselves and their fur kids happy, happy dogs.
